Theme Leader: Assoc Professor Ros Boyd
The focus of researchers within this theme is collaborative research to measure outcomes, test the efficacy of new and current interventions and understand the mechanisms underlying the development and growth of children, and in particular, those with early and acquired brain injury. Another major focus is to understand the characteristics of growth and nutrition of both children with childhood conditions and those that are typically developing, to foster a healthy start of life. The final theme of the group is to translate these findings into enhanced clinical practice and to foster the training of the next generation of medical, allied health and nursing researchers in this area of research.
