The focus for Researchers within this theme is collaborative research to characterise the mechanisms underlying inflammatory and infectious diseases in children, the relationship with long term medical conditions such as chronic respiratory disease, asthma and cystic fibrosis and with environmental factors, with the aim of preventing or reducing disease progression.
