Theme Leader: Associate Professor Andrew Hallahan
The vision of the cancer and cell biology theme is to develop a centre of multidisciplinary research excellence that will inform and advance the best care for children and adolescents with cancer.
Our specific aims are:
- To perform and promote innovative, high quality childhood and adolescent cancer research;
- To transfer new research findings into practice;
- To nurture new researchers in all disciplines who will provide future leadership. Our current areas of research focus & expertise are: Clinical Trials and Tumour Banking, Brain Tumours, Nutrition and Telehealth, Palliative & Supportive Care.
